History: Anorexia, abdominal pain.

Key Findings: • Focal hypoechoic mass of spleen; bulges from capsule, multifocal hyperechoic foci that shadow • Surrounding fat is hyperechoic • Mild anechoic abdominal fluid • hypoechoic nodules in the adjacent fat
Key Synthesis: • Abscess, necrotic neoplasia • Focal peritonitis with blood clots or fibrin
