The Large Animal Diagnostic Imaging Society will again be conducting an equine diagnostic imaging course and lab, however this year the course will be tailored to residents, diplomates and post-trainees of outside ACVR specialties such as ACVS-LA, ACVSMR, and ACVIM-LA. (Please pass this information to your colleagues in these specialties.) ACVR diplomates, residents, and post-trainees with a focused interest in advanced equine imaging are also welcome and encouraged to attend. (We plan to continue to offer the general equine imaging course for ACVR residents/diplomates/post-trainees only on an every other year schedule.)

The course will include image interpretation of all modalities and a hands-on ultrasound lab portion. The course will be held in Irving, Texas at Animal Imaging from April 24-26, 2020 . The course will have two separate components, with an ultrasound only day on Friday, April 24 (didactic lectures and hands on scanning lab) and focus on radiography and advanced imaging on April 25-26 (didactic lectures and small group case discussions). Participants can register for all three days or can register for only the 2 days of radiography and advanced imaging.

Registration fees are as follows:

-All three days will be $800 for residents and $950 for post-trainees and diplomates of any equine/large animal specialty. (April 24-26)
-Registration for only the radiography and advanced imaging days (April 25, 26) will be $650 for residents and $800 for post-trainees and diplomates.

The course will be RACE certified in order to provide CE credit. A minimum of 15 participants will be required to proceed with the course. If this amount is not filled by March 15, the course will be cancelled.
