Care Center, with locations in Cincinnati and Centerville (Dayton), Ohio, is looking for a Radiation Oncologist to join our team at our Cincinnati hospital!

Come enjoy the best of the Midwest alongside our incredible team of Surgeons, CCRPs, an Anesthesiologist, a Radiologist, Criticalists, Internists, Medical Oncologists, Neurologist and Cardiologists in addition to many talented, tenured Emergency doctors as we grow together in such a monumental time in our industry. Care Center’s success is achieved by providing rewarding careers to all our team members, and by being a compassionate, competent, and ever-present resource for our referring community and pet owners.

Our established radiation oncology department is home to a Varian Trilogy with Rapid Arc technology and on-board imaging that uses Aria/Eclipse, version 15, for treatment verification and planning/dosimetry. This allows us to offer stereotactic radiation (SRT/SRS), intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and 3D conformal radiation therapy (3DCRT) with either a definitive or palliative intent. Our Cincinnati location also has a 16-slice helical CT scanner and our Centerville location (~35 minutes north on the interstate) has a 1.5T MRI. The department is supported by a fully licensed Radiation Therapist who operates the linear accelerator and does most patient imaging and positioning. The department also has a dedicated registered veterinary technician who runs and monitors anesthesia for all patients, as well as assisting in patient care. The support team for the Care Center Radiation Oncology department is phenomenal, they have a strong understanding of radiation biology, have excellent client communication skills and overall, make the day run smoothly, providing great experiences not only for our patients and clients, but each other as well.

Just over 20 years ago, an idea was hatched between two local Cincinnati ER veterinarians. That idea grew into the first 24-hour Emergency and Specialty veterinary hospital in Cincinnati’s tri-state area. In 2008, Care Center responded to the community’s need for that same level of care in the Dayton/Centerville area and celebrated our 10th anniversary by moving from 5,000 sq.ft. to 15,000 sq.ft., expanding our ER and Specialty offerings.

Our leadership team constantly respond to the needs of our staff, clients, patients, and referring community with a dedicated Medical Director, Hospital Director, and Hospital Operations Managers that are always striving to find a better way, work hard to provide the highest level of support, and acquire state-of-the-art medical equipment and IT. We recently launched monthly production pay to our licensed technicians and technician students as a way to address the ever-long industry question of, “where are all the techs?”. Above all, we achieve our goals best collectively, and no one person or department is more important than Care Center as a whole. This is how and why Care Center came to be, and we invite anyone who shares this vision to become a part of our success.
