CVETS, Columbia Veterinary Emergency Trauma & Specialty, is a new specialty/ER hospital looking to add a third Veterinary Radiologist The brand new 9000 square foot facility opened in May of 2018 and is growing rapidly. We are in the process of adding to our space, soon to become 30,000 square feet with a dedicated radiology wing. The facility includes a dedicated ICU, multiple operating rooms, a radiology suite, dedicated facilities for endoscopy, chemotherapy administration and special procedures, ultrasound, a 16 slice CT scan, on site MRI and support by multiple additional specialists (24 hour emergency, internal medicine, ophthalmology, critical care medicine, surgery, oncology, neurology and radiology). The hospital is located on the northeast side of Columbia an area that is rapidly growing and was not previously serviced by specialty care. The hospital and its staff have been designed with a culture aimed at exceptional client services and personal job fulfillment. This summer, we are opening a separate location in West Columbia, dedicated to Urgent Care.

We are seeking a Radiologist who is interested in being on the ground floor of a progressive and
rapidly developing facility. A person interested in working in a non-corporate environment with the
potential for ownership in the future. Possibilities include the ability to be involved in the hiring of
your support staff, involvement in acquiring equipment for the service, ownership opportunities and flexibility in designing your work schedule.

 

Our Hospital Expansion
In May of 2021, we broke ground on a 17,000 square foot hospital expansion! The new facility will include 5 operating rooms, including a minimally-invasive suite with fluoroscopy, 17 total exam rooms, in-building MRI, physical therapy (underwater treadmill), I-131 treatment, a 35-person conference suite, separate GI and respiratory isolation units, a dedicated radiology wing, and dedicated suites for oncology, internal medicine, cardiology, dermatology, dentistry, and ophthalmology.
