The MSPCA-Angell Animal Medical Center (AAMC) in Boston, Massachusetts is seeking applicants for a flexible Veterinary Radiologist position (full time or part time).

Angell currently has three board certified radiologists on staff, and we are seeking a fourth board certified or board-eligible radiologist to join the team. The current radiologists work a combination of full time and part time schedules and a mixture of on-site (ultrasounds and special procedures) and remote (radiographs and routine CT/MR). We are flexible regarding full time or part time work and a mixture of on-site and remote reading based on the needs and desires of the applicant. There is no expectation of off-hours or on-call work.

Salary is base pay plus production with a competitive production model. Our radiologists read for Angell Boston—a primary care, 24-hour emergency, and tertiary referral center—as well as multiple satellite clinics in the surrounding area, including Angell West which is an urgent care and secondary referral center. A signing bonus of $30,000 as well as relocation expenses are being offered for a full time schedule, and pro-rated for a part time schedule. The MSPCA-Angell also offers a generous benefits package for full time employees and a generous limited package for part time employees.

Our radiology department at Angell Boston features three digital radiography suites using AGFA Musica DR systems, an 80 slice Canon Aquilion Lightning CT, an MR suite with a 1.5T GE Optima MR360 Advance magnet, a nuclear scintigraphy suite, a digital fluoroscopy suite with a mobile GE 9900 C-Arm, one Canon Aplio i700 ultrasound, and one Toshiba Aplio 300 ultrasound. The radiology service is supported by approximately 15 dedicated imaging technicians/assistants.

Angell serves Boston and the greater New England area with a full caseload. The Angell veterinary staff is composed of 47 senior staff specialists, 7 internship-trained emergency veterinarians, 11 primary care veterinarians, 15 residents, 8 specialty interns, and 27 rotating interns.
