Round Rock, Texas, USA – Diagnostic Imaging Internship with 3T MRI focus
Up to four (4) applicants will be accepted for a one-year internship beginning and ending on July 1, 2022. This internship may be based in Austin, Texas or Salt Lake City, Utah, and will provide one-on-one training and close collaboration with our three ACVR board-certified radiologists. You will receive hands-on modality experience with a wide variety of the most advanced imaging modalities currently available, including 3 Tesla MRI, 128 slice CT, C-arm fluoroscopy, Nuclear Scintigraphy, and Ultrasound. You will have access to our archive containing thousands of past cross-sectional imaging cases, and associated case reports with included cytology and histopathology. Responsibilities will include performing daily abdominal ultrasound cases, patient positioning for MRI and CT cases, assisting the in-house neurologist, assisting with clinical trial patients, being involved in the nuclear medicine cases (I-131 and Synovetin OA), and writing reports, with instruction in the schematic approach to evaluating images. Interns will regularly participate in journal club, residency rounds, attend local VMA meetings, and will have opportunities to publish. Proficiency in ultrasonography is highly desired but not required for application.

Our second location in Salt Lake City, Utah includes a 3T MRI, and 128 slice CT.
