Our research group is performing a study to investigate the value of artificial-intelligence (AI) powered decision support for board-certified veterinary radiologists. The study design has multiple layers, including radiologist-generated reports, AI-generated diagnostics and a combination of both. This call relates to the first part of the study, establishing radiologist-related reports.
We are looking for board-certified veterinary radiologists (DACVR or DECVDI) providing radiology reports for 25 canine and feline radiographic studies within 2 months. The radiographic studies will be provided anonymized in DICOM format on a web-based PACS. The studies typically contain 1 to 5 radiographs. We are offering a fixed fee of $60USD per report.
These reports are only used for the purpose of this study, they are not used for any commercial or clinical purposes. The reporting radiologists will also be asked to fill out a short questionnaire, which is only used for the purpose of this study. All data provided by participating radiologists will be treated in confidence and data are collected in accordance with the United Kingdom General Data Protection regulations.
The study received ethical approval from the University of Edinburgh.
Results from this study will not be used for clinical purposes.
