Veterinary Specialty Hospital of San Diego (VSH) is looking for a third Radiologist to join our team at our sunny San Diego location.
The Hospital: VSH is a 24-hour, state of the art emergency and specialty hospital located in San Diego. Specialties include Internal Medicine, Surgery, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Cardiology, Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, Dermatology, Emergency and Critical Care.
Culture: Our highly skilled and motivated veterinary team works as a collaborative and collegial group to provide optimal care to our patients and their owners. Specialty interests, both in clinical practice and in research, are supported and encouraged. We have a very active teaching program for externs, rotating interns, specialty interns, and residents. We value quality medicine and routinely provide follow up on cases via our on-site reference lab with a full-time clinical pathologist and regular access to anatomic pathologists. We also enjoy a close relationship with University of California-Davis specialists in nephrology and cardiology.
The Equipment: Diagnostic imaging equipment includes a 1.5T on-site MRI unit which is currently being upgraded to a Platinum Certified Siemens 1.5 T Avanto, a 64-slice CT, two DR digital systems, two Toshiba Aplioi700 ultrasound units, one Toshiba Aplio300 unit, portable ultrasound units for ER/ICU use, a digital fluoroscopy unit and GE 9800 C-Arm, fully integrated PACS, and the quality PACS/IT support afforded by a network of Ethos specialty hospitals.
