Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital (WRAH) is looking for a full-time Radiologist to join our well established, rapidly growing, 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO. You will be part of a Diagnostic Imaging team which currently includes 2 CVTs and 2 assistants.
Our 37,500 square foot state of the art hospital is nestled in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, near the Denver metro area. Working as a doctor at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital means joining a team consisting of colleagues in emergency, critical care, surgery, oncology, internal medicine, neurology, rehabilitation, theriogenology, dermatology, ophthalmology, anesthesiology, and primary care all under one roof. WRAH is a teaching hospital, with fourteen rotating intern doctors. Continuous learning and development is a cornerstone of the hospital culture.
We are equipped with advanced imaging equipment that includes a GE LogiqV2, GE Logiq EVET R7, GE Logiq EVET, a 64 slice Toshiba Aquillion CT, and a Symphony Magnatom 1.5 Tesla MRI and two digital radiography suites.
We are looking for a board certified or board eligible Radiologist to support our hospital with a focus on interpreting CT, MRI and radiographs. This position offers a 4-day workweek and keeps quality of life at the forefront. Interested candidates should have a strong interest in collaboration with our specialists, ER doctors, and supporting the referring veterinary community with outstanding communication and continuing education. We are currently in the planning stages of adding radiation oncology and an on-side LinAc. This position would grow support the radiation oncology team as well as provide CT interpretations, MRI reads and radiographic evaluations for the rest of the hospital.
