IDEXX Diagnostic Imaging CE – Now a Virtual Event!

This year, in consideration of your safety, travel restrictions and other unforeseen circumstances, we have decided to host our annual Diagnostic Imaging CE event virtually as a live interactive distance event.

Our virtual, three-day event is designed to assist board eligible Diagnostic Imaging residents in preparing for their certifying exam. This program is case-based and delivered in a method intended to emulate an exam setting, including one day with a 3-hour block of case work.

What do you need to attend?

A computer, internet and a quiet place to work. A webcam is preferable, as we’d love to see you online during the case review sessions!

What will happen each day?

Day 1 & Day 2: You will log into online meetings and access cases representative of sections presented in an exam and will write reports on your own. After each section, the class will be divided into virtual break-out sessions to discuss the cases together. This will give you the opportunity to learn from and interact with our Radiologists and your peers in an exciting, collaborative environment.  You will also attend additional group online discussions featuring the topics of Wellness and Exam Preparation Tips.

Day 3: We will start the day with a “Stump the Instructors” case interpretation session. We will ask for one case from each attendee to be submitted in advance of the event. Our committee will pick 3 cases from the submissions and ask the instructors to interpret them in our group session live. The event will close with another group discussion focusing on Synthesis & Terminology Tips.

Attendance is limited to individuals who have achieved board eligible status. We welcome back those who have attended one of our board prep events previously.

·      Day 1: Friday, July 31, 2020: 7:00 am – 4:30 pm  Pacific Standard Time.

·      Day 2: Saturday, August 1, 2020: 7:00 am – 4:30 pm  Pacific Standard Time.

·      Day 3: Sunday, August 2, 2020: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm Pacific Standard Time.

This program has been approved for 17.0 hours of continuing education credit in jurisdictions that recognize race approval.
