Dr. Badertscher has over 50 publications in imaging related subjects. He has been an invited speaker at state, national and international meetings, speaking on diagnostic imaging of all animal species. He is a member of the AVMA, CVMA, American College of Veterinary Radiology, a senior member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, the Radiological Society of North America, and other professional organizations. He has a Masters Degree, with his Thesis on Radiographic Detection of Subluxation in dogs having Canine Hip Dysplasia. His Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Veterinary Physiology is from Texas A & M University, which dealt with nuclear medical detection of prostatic neoplasia and copper metabolism. He has been a faculty member at Texas A & M University, Oklahoma State University, and University of Illinois. He has been a partner in three specialty hospitals in Chicago, IL., and continues to offer Teleradiology services.
