Saggital ultrasound view of the urinary bladder

Urachal diverticulum confirmed by surgery. The ultrasound examination was performed right after the bladder catheterization, but prior to surgery.

Histopathology report:

  • “Severe, diffuse, chronic-active fibrosing and granulating fibrinohemorrhagic suppurative and ulcerative cystitis”.

Gross pathology of the Urachal diverticulum.
