- Neutered prior to adoption from shelter (current owner has had for ~2 years)
- Goes to rDVM for routine care, no problems noted by owner. rDVM palpated large abdominal mass and referred for further work up.

Hyperglobulinemia, leukocytosis (heterophilia, lymphopenia, monocytosis)
Masses from region of left adrenal gland and kidney are coalescing bacterial abscesses
Dx: Pyelonephritis (S. aureus)
