LADIS Equine Diagnostic Imaging Course Returns in 2024!

And, the 2024 Winter LIVE Discussions have been scheduled!

The Large Animal Diagnostic Imaging Society is happy to continue to offer the virtual equine diagnostic imaging course in 2024 and beyond. This course introduces the basics of equine diagnostic imaging, including ultrasound, radiography, skeletal scintigraphy, CT, and MRI. It will present ultrasound imaging techniques for the equine metacarpus, pastern, metatarsus, stifle, and abdomen. It also covers radiographic interpretation of the equine distal limb, carpus, elbow, shoulder, tarsus, stifle, and axial skeleton. Equine skull, neck and distal extremity CT as well as equine MRI sequence selection, normal findings, and pathologic findings are discussed. This is accomplished through didactic (pre-recorded) and small group case sessions (live).
 
The course will be offered online-only, year-round for ACVR residents, post-trainees, and ACVR diplomates, with the ability to purchase only the didactic content or didactic content and a live case discussion session:
  • The didactic content will be available for viewing for 6 months after purchase.
  • The live/case interaction portions of the course will be held twice yearly, in June and January.
    • Each case discussion session will include 6 total hours of live case discussions with 6 different instructors.
    • Purchase of the didactic content is required for purchase of the case discussion session.
  • The case discussion sessions will be capped at 28 participants with any additional interested parties to be added to a waitlist.
