Participate in Veterinary Radiology Competency Study

Dear Colleague,

Ethos Veterinary Health established a focus group and tasked the members with reaching a consensus on the competencies of a board-certified veterinary radiologist. These competencies are being developed to guide residency training programs for board-certified veterinary radiologists interested in creating or transitioning to a competency-based curriculum.

The focus group has completed the first draft of the competency list, and is seeking feedback from a broad workforce audience, including board-certified veterinary radiologists and individuals with experience working with board-certified radiologists (e.g., administrators, referring veterinarians, credentialed technicians, veterinary assistants, other specialized veterinarians, and others in similar roles). At this time, we would like to understand the importance you place on including these competencies within a residency training program curriculum. Your feedback will help us confirm the accuracy of the framework and identify any competencies that may be missing or need clarification.

Therefore, we are reaching out to invite you to participate in this study, currently titled “Developing a Competency Framework for Board-Certified Veterinary Radiologists.” Individuals who agree to take part in this study will be asked to work independently. Participating in this study is voluntary.

If you are interested in participating in this study, please click this link  and read the consent section prior to beginning the survey. Much of the information in the consent section is provided here as per the structure of the IRB protocol. Also, there are additional details to ensure you are fully informed before committing your time.

On behalf of Ethos Veterinary Health, we appreciate your willingness to contribute to developing a board-certified veterinary radiologist competency framework.

Sincerely,
