- Diplomates certified prior to 2015 are exempt from MOC.
- Despite changes in programing features of MOC, the point system will stay the same. See the User Guide for more information on points
- Policies and Procedures as they pertain to MOC are also available.
Diplomates required to participate in MOC will see the icon below appear on their Dashboard once they are enrolled into the year boarded MOC Course. Click to enter ACVR’s Focal Spot.
Helpful Hints to Determine Point Needs:
CATEGORY 1 – KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCE
A minimum of 70 Category 1 points must be earned within the 10-year period for MOC. All 100 points required to complete your MOC may be earned in this category. Additional points can be earned, but will not count directly towards your MOC. (Additionally, you accumulate 45 points when you complete your required meeting attendance in a 10 year span.)
CATEGORY 2 – SERVICE
A maximum of 30 Category 2 points may be counted towards your MOC per 10-year period. Additional points can be earned, but will not count directly towards your MOC. Category 2 points are not required, but are encouraged, to complete your MOC.
