Nomination for ACVR President – Allison L. Zwingenberger
The ACVR is a dynamic and growing organization whose mission to advance veterinary radiology is vital to the growth of the specialty. I have served on many committees of the ACVR throughout my career and helped to guide and improve the outcomes of the activities that benefit our members. I would like to offer my service to the ACVR, having gained a good working knowledge of the College through service on Committees including the Examination, Website, Program, VRUS Editorial, and Consensus Statement Oversight Committees, In-Training Examination Task Force, President of the CT/MRI Society, and Council. I have served on the ECVDI Executive Committee and helped to foster collaborations and close ties with the ACVR to the advantage of both Colleges. One of the most rewarding aspects of my career has been to have the opportunity to work with talented ACVR members on projects that make a difference in how we practice. Our College has many opportunities ahead that we are in a position to develop to promote our members. Our challenges with growth of the membership, new technology, remote learning, and diversity and inclusion also present opportunities to develop in new and creative ways. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to the development of Veterinary Radiology as part of the ACVR leadership.
