I would like to serve on Executive Council to give back to the ACVR. Being a radiologist has become who I am. Without the ACVR, my life would be wholly different and not nearly as amazing. In the past, I have served the ACVR through committee work; I served on the Job Task Analysis Committee in 2009, the Residency Standards Committee from 2010-2014, and the Radiology Residency Training Committee from 2013-2016. Though my career as a radiologist has been mainly in private specialty practice, I have also had the opportunity to experience the other facets of being a veterinary radiologist. I have worked for several teleradiology companies, taught veterinary students at Saint Matthews University, and mentored dozens of diagnostic imaging interns and residents. I have also been involved in the research and publishing of over 20 papers. My varied experiences will allow me to represent the ACVR members well as we move our profession forward. ACVR has given me so much. It is time I give back.
