Ryan Appleby is an Assistant Professor of Diagnostic Imaging at the Ontario Veterinary College. He completed his residency at NC State in 2019. His research interests include the role of artificial intelligence in diagnostic imaging, imaging of the urinary tract as well as ultrasound elastography. Ryan serves as an associate editor of VRU and recently helped complete the VRU Special Issue on Artificial Intelligence. Ryan is passionate about teaching students and general practitioners about Radiology and started the website obivet.com to provide continuing education and case interpretations in a short, video-based format.
